Status
During a recent interview, Trish Stratus said "I'm done"
regarding pro wrestling. "I could never do that touring schedule again.
Wrestling is in my blood. I love it, so if there were an opportunity to
do something again in the ring, maybe. But going on the road? No. I've
moved on," stated Trish Stratus. |

Stratus puts moves on the bad guys
Trish Stratus,
the former World Wrestling Entertainment women's champion, jumped at the
chance to become a police officer. In the reality show Armed and Famous,
the Richmond Hill resident patrolled the streets of Muncie, Ind.,
alongside new recruits La Toya Jackson, Erik Estrada and Wee Man, of
Jackass fame. Although Trish Stratus never got to body slam a perp,
Trish Stratus's glad to hear she's been nominated for Toronto's sexiest
person. Dave McGinn spoke to Trish Stratus about being a police officer.
Q What did you like most about the police training?
I love new challenges. I love conquering something new. That was my
first appeal about doing it.
Q Did you ever have a moment where you were putting the cuffs on someone
and he's giving you hell and then he's like, "Hey, you're Trish
Stratus!"?
Oh, every single time. The funny part is, it was almost like they
wouldn't admit that they knew who I was until they were cuffed and in
the back ofmy car and I was taking them to jail.
They were like, "I can't believe I got booked by Trish Stratus." Or they
would say, "So can I get your autograph still?" |

Stratus’ Reality TV Show Picked Up By VH-1
PWInsider reports that VH-1
has picked up the Trish Stratus reality series "Armed & Famous" for a
five-hour marathon this Saturday starting at 5:00 PM Eastern. That
includes the fifth episode that never aired on CBS due to the show being
cancelled. The show followed several celebrities in their journeys as
police officers in Muncie, Indiana. They were trained and partnered up
with real police officers to fight crime. Along with Trish Stratus, the
show featured La Toya Jackson, Erik Estrada, Wee Man (from Jackass), and
Jack Osbourne.
The shows ratings started off strong, but it couldn’t stand up to
American Idol which aired on FOX in the same timeslot. The ratings
spiraled downwards until the CBS pulled the plug on the show. There were
also two additional episodes of the show scheduled, so it’s possible
that they will eventually show up on VH-1 as well. It's estimated that
Trish Stratus earned around $60,000 per episode. |

Trish Stratus
an Armed and Famous Cop
In the past five months
Trish Stratus retired from wrestling, got married, settled into a
new house and signed on for a seven-episode reality show that is airing
in primetime on CBS. "So I spent my honeymoon in Muncie, Ind., without
my husband," the WWE legend and native of Richmond Hill , Trish Stratus
said with a laugh.
Trish Stratus felt the sacrifice was worth it to be part of Armed And
Famous, in which five celebrites -- Trish Stratus, La Toya Jackson, Jack
Osbourne, Erik Estrada and Jason (Wee Man) Acuna -- become police
officers and go on real-life calls in crime- and crack-infested Muncie. |

Stratus's Show Flopping
Wednesday night's airing of
Trish Stratus' reality show Armed & Famous did a 2.9 rating on the fast
nationals, which is considered to be pretty bad by CBS standards. It was
4th among the five networks, beating only Beauty & The Geek on The CW at
2.2. Trish Stratus and Latoya worked as undercover prostitutes in order
to catch a "john." |
